Report safely →Why No Drugs December?
Substance abuse affects families, communities, and futures across Nepal. No Drugs December is a citizen-led movement that brings together schools, wards, volunteers, and diaspora communities in 31 days of focused action.
This isn't about punishment or shame. It's about prevention through education, protection through community support, recovery through compassionate care, and enforcement through responsible reporting.
Originating in Nepal and now growing nationwide, this campaign empowers every citizen to be part of the solution—whether you're a student, parent, teacher, ward leader, or Nepali living abroad.
Our Four Pillars
A comprehensive approach to building healthier communities through prevention, protection, recovery, and enforcement.
Prevent
Educate communities, especially youth, about the risks of substance abuse through school conversations, public awareness campaigns, and peer-led initiatives.
Protect
Create safe environments in schools, wards, and communities. Support families and provide resources for those at risk of exploitation or trafficking.
Recover
Connect individuals struggling with substance use to verified, compassionate recovery services. Support reintegration and long-term wellness.
Enforce
Support responsible reporting of drug trafficking and related crimes. Work with authorities (subject to approval) to strengthen community safety.
Take the Pledge
Join thousands of Nepalis committed to a drug-free December. Your pledge is a promise to yourself, your family, and your community.
Thank you for your pledge!
You're now part of the movement. Together, we're building a healthier Nepal.
